How you’ll impact our mission:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for oversight of our CVS Specialists and Associates, providing guest relations functions and support for all aspects of the department, including the Voucher Program, CARE, Community Outreach events, Spay Neuter program, vaccine clinics, foster and post-adopt appointments and the Community Cat Program (CCP).
What you'll do:
Works closely with Director of Community Veterinary Services to build streamlined processes, a cohesive and collaborative team and a robust community-facing program.
Responsible for the direct supervision of Community Veterinary Services Associates and Specialists. Schedules and coordinates staff work-schedules and daily task management.
Coordinates CVS initiatives and fosters working relationships both internally between all departments/campuses and externally with partner organizations.
Recruits and coordinates volunteers to support program needs. Main POC for program volunteers.
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve CVS programs as well as efficient and effective use of resources.
Develops and maintains partnerships with program volunteers and new organizations regularly, including outreach, communication and relationship management.
Location: Based at our San Diego Campus. On occasion will be required to drive SDHS van, truck, other Society vehicles, or own vehicle as necessary for work-related purposes. This position has the potential to work from home some of the time.
Pay: Starts at $19.40 per hour. The hourly rate is determined by your related education and experience.
