Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Operations accomplishes the day-to-day operation of both shelter and veterinary facilities of the organization. Working closely with associated leadership team peers, this position is responsible for mission delivery across, shelter, medical departments, including programs planning and implementation, and supplies procurement and inventory, personnel management, and financial management. The Senior Director of Operations must ensure that Norfolk SPCA operations are effective and efficient and that proper management of organizational resources are prioritized in order to achieve optimal lifesaving and to fulfill with integrity and compassion the Norfolk SPCA’s mission.
