Job Description

Purpose of Position:

The purpose of this position is to oversee all lifesaving programs and managerial functions relative to the Oklahoma City Campus (s), including but not limited to the supervision of intake operations, relocation programs, foster homes and adoptions, implementation of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as directed, staff training and supervision, facility repair and maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

In accordance with organizational policies, duties include but are not limited to:

OVERALL
Supervise staff and volunteers in accordance with company policies and procedures
Responsible for meeting facility productivity and quality goals
Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations
Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
Take responsibility for the safety and security of staff, volunteers and visitors as well as the medical and behavioral health of all animals housed at Oklahoma City lifesaving facilities.
Ensure that animal inventory meets productivity and quality goals for all programs but does not exceed established parameters except under extenuating circumstances
Cultivate and retain relationships with stakeholders, including but not limited to local Veterinarians and animal welfare organizations as well as national partners such as ASPCA, HSUS etc.
Ensure that supplies for daily animal care are on hand and that outstanding preventive health care is provided at all times
Ensure that Lifesaving facilities are thoroughly cleaned and stocked at all times
Work closely with VP and Medical Director to ensure smooth process flow and design enhancements as needed
Collaborate with the Medical Director on development and maintenance of standard operating procedures within the facilities
Provide regular reporting to VP and other managers on program operations and outcomes
Other duties as assigned
