This position offers an exciting opportunity at a one-of-a-kind, cat-only sanctuary where you will work alongside a small, caring staff and over 100 volunteers to provide high quality, care for our feline residents while they await their forever homes. Our cats range from healthy, vibrant kittens to seniors and special needs cats with conditions like diabetes or paralysis. You will help provide these cats with high quality medical.

Providing excellent care to our cats is a top priority, but we also treat our staff, volunteers and supporters with the same level of respect and care. In this position you will work with a team that values you and your contributions to the organization.

A Veterinarian is responsible for providing high-quality medical care to cats cared for by Tabby’s Place, including diagnoses, surgeries, dental and other procedures treatment of various medical conditions, health maintenance, emergency care, and euthanasia. The care provided is aligned with our policy of doing whatever is the best interest of each cat.

A Veterinarian also has responsibility for consulting on, and following, sanctuary disease protocols, and delivering humane treatment to all cats under the care of the sanctuary. When onsite at the sanctuary a Veterinarian oversees the Senior and Junior Veterinary Technicians.
