Job Description

Colorado Animal Rescue is looking to add a new FT Lead Vet Tech to our crew! This position works directly with shelter animals, staff, and the public in a professional and positive manner. Primary responsibilities include intake exams and vaccination protocols, monitoring shelter pets, overseeing treatment plans, medical inventory, and assisting our shelter Vet in weekly surgeries and exams. Daily duties include cleaning, feeding, and assisting general shelter operations and maintenance. Additional responsibilities include communication with outside Vets, shelter outreach programs, and ongoing education in current animal welfare topics. This is a Lead Role with required previous experience and certification preferred. Full time salary dependent on experience.
