This FREE virtual training is co-hosted with Greenville County Animal Care and South Carolina Animal Care & Control Association and it’s open to law enforcement, animal control officers, humane investigators, sheltering professionals and animal rescue leaders throughout South Carolina. A certificate of attendance can be provided upon request for 2 hours of continuing education.
This workshop provides the tools needed to stay resilient in the face of day-to-day challenges in the animal protection field. Trainer Hilary Hager, HSUS Acting VP of Outreach, Engagement and Training, will offer a shared language and understanding of the causes and symptoms of compassion fatigue, as well as a suite of skills that can be used to build and maintain a healthy supportive culture.
