Welcome to the Impact Summit

The Black Pet Business Network, in partnership with Humane World for Animals, is hosting the Impact Summit! The Impact Summit is a transformative experience designed to inspire action and spark change for individuals and organizations committed to making a difference in animal welfare for underserved, historically marginalized and under-resourced communities. This hybrid program includes a one-day in-person experience and exclusive pre- and post-summit webinars to deepen learning and sustain momentum. The in-person portion of the summit will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at CAESARS FORUM, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 8:30 am-3:00 pm.

On-site, you’ll experience dynamic sessions led by thought leaders in animal welfare, advocacy and organizational sustainability, with topics ranging from building impactful networks to formalizing passion projects into thriving businesses or nonprofits. Discover innovative strategies to keep people and the pets they care for together, ensuring access to vital resources and support.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a nonprofit leader, or simply someone driven by a desire to create change, the Impact Summit offers the tools, inspiration and community to help you make a lasting difference. The one-day in-person portion of the Impact Summit will be held in conjunction with Humane World for Animals’ Animal Care Expo (Expo), the largest international animal welfare conference of its kind, drawing in more than 3,000 animal welfare and shelter professionals from around the world. Animal Care Expo takes place at CAESARS FORUM from April 15-18. All Impact Summit attendees are encouraged to attend Expo and will receive a 35% off discount code and link to register for Expo once you complete your Impact Summit registration.

Humane World for Animals is sponsoring the costs of attendance and lunch ($150 per person) for the Impact Summit. Space is limited and based on availability. To verify your commitment to attend the Summit and to ensure there is availability for interested parties, travel itinerary to the Impact Summit (flight or hotel booking or copy of ID if you live locally) must be provided by March 15, 2025, to confirm your spot. A link to submit these items before the March 15, 2025, deadline will be sent once you complete your Impact Summit registration.
