Shelter medicine vs. accessible veterinary care
This is an archived session from 2020.
Shelter medicine is the care of animals within your shelter, but the consumers within your community need additional services after adoption. How can you work with local veterinarians to serve the needs of all family units (including pets)? In this session we will discuss opportunities to expand Shelter Medicine into Community Medicine and Accessible Veterinary Care, while working with local veterinarian and social workers.
Continuing Education
This program has been approved for .5 hours of continuing education credit for both veterinarians and veterinary technicians in jurisdictions which recognize RACE approval.
