What safety precautions will be put in place?
The Humane Society of the United States considers the health and safety of all those who attend Animal Care Expo 2024 in person our top priority. Please visit our Health and Safety page to learn what safety precautions will be in place at Animal Care Expo 2024.
When will registration open?
Registration will open in the fall. We’ll announce when registration opens on our website and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Save by registering before the advance registration deadline on February 22, 2024.
Subscribe to our free newsletter, HumanePro News, to receive the latest Expo updates throughout the year. We’ll send an email to let you know registration is open and you’ll also receive special Expo discounts, reserved only for our subscribers! How can I stay engaged?

Are there discounts available for the conference?
Save by registering before the advance registration deadline on February 22, 2024. You can also receive discounted in-person registration if you register in a group of three or more. Find our full breakdown of rates here.
What time zone will be used?
The schedule for the conference will be in Central Daylight Time.
What workshops are being offered?
We're still building the schedule for Animal Care Expo 2024. Once workshop descriptions are available, we will post them online. Please check back for more details.
How old must I be to attend Animal Care Expo?
While Expo is a professional development conference geared toward those working the field, we invite attendees of all ages to join Expo. Please note that any participants under age 18 will be required to have a parent or legal guardian register as well and chaperone them at the conference. They must also complete a minor participation release form.
