What is Animal Care Expo ?

Animal Care Expo 2021 is a robust virtual conference experience for those who work or volunteer in animal shelters and rescue groups and others in animal welfare. The conference live dates are April 21-23, 2021 and provide the greatest opportunity for an interactive experience with other participants, speakers and exhibitors. During the live dates you can:

  • View 40 professional development sessions on a variety of topics with continuing education credits available
  • Participate in live Zoom Q&A with speakers
  • Browse an exhibit hall featuring many of the companies and organizations who typically exhibit at the face-to-face Expo, showcasing their products and services for the animal welfare field
  • Video chat with exhibitors, email speakers and exhibitors through their conference profiles and chat with anyone logged in to the conference at the same time
  • Network during our round table events, where you can talk with others about a specific topic of interest to you

Do I need to create a profile to register?

No, you can continue as a guest instead of creating of profile if you prefer.

If I’m registering a group do I need to have everyone’s contact information at the time of registration?

Yes, you will need all group members’ contact information in order to register your full group.

When does advance registration end?

April 2, 2021

If I’m registering a group, what info will I receive as the group leader and what info will the rest of my group receive?

Only the group leader will receive a confirmation email with receipt after registering. The rest of the group will not receive an email immediately after being registered. As we approach the conference dates (April 21-23, 2021), we will send out informational emails and all registrants, including group members, will be sent those communications.

Why do I need to confirm my email (and the emails of my group members) during registration?

When Expo 2021 launches in April, you will need to log in to the platform using your email. If your email has a typo or is incorrect, you will not be able to login until that issue is resolved. You will also miss out on all conference communications, including a link to log in to the conference and other important conference content. For that reason, please be very careful to ensure that your email, as well as the emails of all group members, are correct as entered when registering. If you notice a problem after registering, please email expo@humanesociety.org for assistance.

I paid for a group but forgot to add one group member’s information during registration. How do I get that last person registered?

I am unavailable during the Expo live dates (April 21-23). Can I still attend?

Yes. While you may miss some live day only events, such as our happy hours and leaderboard competition, most conference content will be available for on demand viewing at your convenience through June 30, 2021.

Are there discounts available for the conference?

By registering before April 2, 2021, you will receive our discounted advance registration price and get $20 off the regular full conference price. You can also receive additional discounts if you register in a group of two or more.

Do I need Zoom to participate in the conference?

A Zoom account is not required to participate in the conference. However, although you don't need a Zoom account you must be able to access Zoom to join certain live events, such as happy hours and speaker Q&As.
