Round Table discussions are a unique opportunity to engage in small-group, peer-to-peer conversations on timely topics in animal welfare. These sessions are designed to be interactive and discussion-based, giving attendees space to ask questions, make connections, share challenges and learn directly from one another.

With over 100 table topics to choose from, Round Tables cover a wide range of topics- from shelter operations and access to care to community outreach and wellness- so attendees can join in conversations that are directly relevant to their work and interests.

Interested in hosting a Round Table?

Round Table hosts play an important role in shaping meaningful conversations at Animal Care Expo.  We rely on more than 100 table hosts, representing a range of perspectives, experience levels and areas of expertise, to make these sessions a success.  This role is well-suited to anyone who is comfortable facilitating a conversation and creating an inclusive space for authentic discussions.

As a host, you'll identify a topic, guide the conversation and help ensure that all participants have the opportunity to engage.  Please remember that Round Tables are not intended to be a presentation.  Hosts serve as facilitators rather than speakers.  To maintain a meaningful, discussion-focused environment, these sessions may not be used for sales pitches or promotional content related to specific products, services or companies.

All hosts are required to be present during both Round Table sessions, dates and times to be announced. The Round Table host application for Animal Care Expo 2027 will be available in October 2026.  If you have questions in the meantime, please contact Tara Moran tmoran@humaneworld.org
