Job Description
AWLA is seeking a motivated Community Outreach Intern to support AWLA’s Community Programs. This is a part time paid internship expected work to average 16-20 hours/week, negotiable based on student schedule. Anchored in the One Health model, this internship position is responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating offsite community outreach programs and clinics serving low-income communities in Arlington County. Additional duties include survey data collection and analysis as well as administrative assignments that directly support the program. Interested candidates pursuing studies in Public Health, Social Work and Community Engagement are encouraged to apply. Experience working with underserved populations is highly desired. Candidates must be confident working with the public under a variety of circumstances. Proficiency in Spanish required, additional languages are highly preferred.• Estimated end date: June 2025
• Part time (16-20 hours a week)
• Hourly rate of pay $18.00
