Raskel's Rescue is an up-and-coming animal rescue located in Hardeeville SC. We know what you're thinking. Where the heck is Hardeeville? We're glad you asked! Hardeeville is right over the border from beautiful historic Savannah GA and quite close to the stunning beaches of Hilton Head, so, when you're not performing the tasks listed below, you could be hanging out in one of those fabulous destinations!!

Before we get into the job description, let us tell you a little bit about our organization. Raske's Rescue is a 501(c)3 animal rescue. Our main focus is dogs, but we do get in the occasional cat and may have even gotten in some chickens, but that's another tale for another time. We are a fairly new organization, having just opened October of 2023, so there is much room to grow and expand, but we need the right team to get us there. This leads us to the job at hand!

We are looking for a Development Director to help us reach our goals. We have huge aspirations, but the budget isn't quite there yet, so we are looking for someone to assist with
-Develop and implement fundraising strategies, such as annual campaigns, major gifts, grants, and events
-Develop and maintain relationships with donors
-Work with the Executive Director to develop and execute long term plans
-Identify and apply for grants
-Create and lead a team of volunteers to assist in fundraising goals
-Maintain accurate records of donations, grants, and other funding sources.
