Job Description

The Bond Between is seeking a Lead Rescue Veterinarian. This position is 40 hours per week at $110K+ DOQ. The Lead Veterinarian plays a key role in supporting our veterinary practice by overseeing the medical management of our rescue animals. The Lead Veterinarian will supervise the rescue veterinarians and lead them on a variety of cases.Responsibilities
● Build a strong foster-first and collaborative practice culture.
● Positively represent the vet center in the professional and local community.
● Perform comprehensive medical examinations and assessments on our foster animals on behalf of The Bond Between.
● Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in conjunction with our rescue medicine standards.
● Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, soft tissue surgeries, and dental procedures using best practices.
● Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient examinations, diagnoses,treatments, and outcomes in compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
● Hold primary DEA license for The BB Veterinary Center. Veterinary license will also be used to order inventory for the Vet Center.
● Communicate effectively with fosters, colleagues, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
