Job Description

Charleston Animal Society is looking for a HVHQ Spay/Neuter Shelter Veterinarian! (Humane Alliance Model)
Responsible for the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly spay and neuter surgical outputs, prioritizing the most at-risk animals (those in SC shelters), and impacting the prevention of unwanted and overpopulated companion animals with a focus on (by priority):
1. Charleston Animal Society shelter spays and neuters (NKSC2024 Initiative)
2. South Carolina at-risk shelter spays and neuters (NKSC2024 Initiative)
3. Pit Bull Type Dog (PBTD) spays and neuters in high-intake areas
4. Free Roaming Cat (FRC) spays and neuters
5. Public Spays and Neuters
6. Non-revenue spays and neuters
Primary schedule is Monday - Friday, but may include weekdays and/or weekends, including evenings, as appropriate.
Must be a licensed Veterinarian with the State of SC. $110,000 - $116,000 per year + Full Benefits Package!
