Job Description

We are offing a full-time job, as well as a relief or long-term part-time job at MCPAWS Veterinary Hospital and Regional Animal Shelter. We are offering a daily rate of $800 for the part time or relief position. Work schedule is Mondays and Tuesdays with the possibility of Saturday 9-2 if you are interested. We can provide basic on-site housing. We also have a full-time position available with base salary, plus production bonus and signing bonus.

This position is unique and the incumbent will provide veterinary care across a spectrum of programs. Duties are balanced between clinical and surgical responsibilities (including pediatric spay/neuter) at our newly remodeled veterinary hospital and community shelter medicine, providing for the veterinary needs of cats and dogs being cared for at our no-kill shelter

WHY McCall, ID:

McCall is a small resort town in the central mountains of Idaho. McCall is known in the winter for its snowmobiling, alpine, Nordic and backcountry skiing. Area ski resorts boast a combined 2,600 skiable acres featuring vertical drops ranging from 1,800 to 2,800 feet. In the summer, McCall’s warm sunny days provide the perfect setting to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and golfing at the five area golf courses. EXPERIENCE:
One-year licensed Veterinarian with the ability to work independently
No night shifts either part time or full time

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary college
Currently licensed in Idaho to practice veterinary medicine or ability to obtain a license upon hire
Qualified and eligible to obtain Idaho state pharmacy license and DEA license
