Location: Bentonville, AR

Hiring Range: This position’s hiring range is anticipated to be $19.50 per hour to $22 per hour (certified technicians may be eligible for an increased pay range), depending on experience, plus great benefits!

This is a part-time position that is expected to have a schedule of around 25-28 hours/week. The Clinic is open Monday – Saturday and working hours for the techs are between 7 am – 6 pm (the exact schedule for this position is to be determined).

Interviews will occur weekly and will continue until the position is filled.

Best Friends in Northwest Arkansas is looking for versatile and, quite frankly, AMAZING, Veterinary Technicians to join our team in a part-time position. We have built a state-of-the-art Pet Resource Center in Bentonville; the clinic will be the shining star and beacon of hope to many in the region who may struggle to afford veterinary care.

Our world is unique and changes daily. We partner with shelters across Arkansas and the region to help them maximize their lifesaving. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician that will help with our intake from shelters, assist with foster animal appointments, surgery, and provide great care aligned with our mission. In addition, they will have surgical experience and ideally experience with high volume, high quality, spay and neuter. Position Summary: Veterinary Technicians provide high quality medical care for animals in Best Friends lifesaving and veterinary programs. They are responsible for daily medical activities and supporting Best Friends veterinarians. Veterinary technicians act with urgency to accomplish important tasks and play a direct role in achieving Best Friends Animal Society’s no-kill mission and organizational success. Technicians may receive intensive assignments in a particular program, based on organizational needs.
