Amit is consulted on all Dog Population Management Projects in India and Bhutan. He heads the Monitoring Evaluation and Impact Assessment (MEIA) department for the Companion Animals & Engagement Program of HSI. Amit has designed, trained personnel and conducted dog population surveys across India, Israel, Philippines, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius. Amit has been instrumental in developing mobile applications for capturing accurate data for mass dog vaccination and sterilization. Amit has also done over 20,000 surgeries himself in his 10 years in the field of animal welfare. He has been a first responder in many disasters and continues to break new grounds in the space of data, technology and animal welfare.
