Danielle Harris
Shelter manager, Pima Animal Care Center
Danielle has more than 14 years of experience in animal welfare. Danielle started at Pima Animal Care Center in 2015. She helped to change the live release rate from below 80% to a consistent 90%. She also help to implement a diversion program that helps assist pets to stay with the people who love them. Recently she implemented an intake to placement program that focuses on getting pets into permanent placements within 72 hours of surrender. Danielle has lived in the Pima county community for over 20 years and loves the community in which she serves. She also has a love and passion for the older pets that enter the shelter.
