The Wildlife Center of Virginia (WCV), one of the world’s leading teaching/research hospitals. Since 1982, the Center has used the clinical care of more than 75,000 patients as the basis for environment health studies and environmental education messages that reached hundreds of thousands of people each year. The Center also trains veterinary and conservation students and professionals from more than 40 countries and plays an active role conservation policy issues nationwide. Throughout his 40-year career in conservation, Ed has served in leadership roles with many national and international conservation organizations, including the National Wildlife Federation, the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and the Philippe Cousteau Foundation. He is a well-known television personality having hosted several series including Wildlife Emergency, on Animal Planet, and Virginia Outdoors on Virginia Public Television. He has won countless local, regional and national awards for his work.
