Pet Program Coordinator, Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati

Garrett Parsons is the pet program coordinator for Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. For the past 4 years and with the help of many volunteers, he has established/grown a shelter program for pets whose owners are in crisis with the goal of keeping families together and out of animal shelters. Since 2016, the Pet Support Program has kept several hundred animals with their owners through various crises such as homelessness, rehabilitation, and hospitalization. In addition to his work with IHNGC, Garrett has an interest in wildlife conservation and volunteers for different white-tail deer fertility control programs across the country and is planning on going to graduate school for Wildlife Conservation in the near future.
