Director of Education, American Pets Alive!

Jessica Powers is the Maddie's Director of Education at American Pets Alive!, the outreach and education branch of Austin Pets Alive!. Jessica helped to develop and scale the Maddie's Lifesaving Academy, which has hosted over 1000 students over the last 3 years. Prior to working in animal welfare, Jessica was an instructional designer in various industries, and a 4th grade reading teacher.
