Katherine Polak, DVM, MPH, DACVPM

Katherine Polak is a veterinarian working to improve animal welfare in Southeast Asia and in limited-resource communities around the world. She directs the Southeast Asia stray animal care program for FOUR PAWS International and manages a variety of companion animal programs in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia, with a focus on combating the dog and cat meat trade in the region. She also serves as faculty at the University of Florida and in 2018 became the medical director for the Humane Society of the United States Spayathon™ for Puerto Rico.
