Kelley Meyers, DVM, MBA
Chief Medical Officer, Michigan Humane
Dr. Kelley Meyers received her veterinary degree in 1999 and her MBA in 2013 both through Michigan State University. She has been an operational leader in the animal industry for more than 18 years. Dr. Meyers started her career in population medicine and transitioned to small animal practice in 2001 when she joined Banfield Pet Hospital. She held several positions at Banfield, including medical director and field director, managing both the medical and operational aspects of 18 hospitals. Dr. Meyers joined Michigan Humane in 2012 and is currently their chief medical officer overseeing the strategic direction of the clinical medicine, shelter medicine and behavior teams. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with her two teenagers and husband or snuggling with their three cats Squish, Chubs, and Bernard.
