Matt Wildman
Matt Wildman’s journey into cat behavior began in 2010 when he began volunteering with, and subsequently working full time for, a New York City-based pet retention program of Humane World for Animals (formerly called the Humane Society of the United States). During this time he was lucky enough to be mentored for several years by a wonderful certified cat behavior consultant named Beth Adelman. He’s subsequently helped hundreds of cat owners resolve their cat’s behavior issues. While working with Humane World he also developed various cat behavior resources for the animal sheltering world, including the Guide to Cat Behavior Counseling, various webinars and articles, and an online cat behavior course.
Active in animal sheltering since 2006, Matt has also served as the humane educator and volunteer coordinator at the Animal Care Centers of NYC, adoption/admissions manager at the ASPCA in New York City, and vice president of community engagement at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in New Jersey.
