Ryan Hinderman
Public Information Coordinator, Front Street Animal Shelter
Ryan has dedicated his career to animal shelter marketing and fundraising, serving the City of Sacramento Front Street Animal Shelter since 2015. He's grown the shelter's Facebook page to over 200,000 followers, his top post reached 33 million people organically, and he's produced stories and videos that have regularly been picked up by national and international news outlets such as The Dodo, the Today Show, Washington Post, and ABC World News. His campaigns have won several prestigious awards, including first place "Most Effective Social Media Campaign" from CAPIO (California Association of Public Information Officials). Through online fundraising and grant contests, he's raised over $1 million for the shelter in just 5 years. He's also the creator of Lost2Found, a return to owner program that uses automated text messaging to help owners find their pets. The program won the "Innovation Award" from the Petco Foundation, along with a $250,000 investment at the Innovation Showdown in 2018. His new mission is to empower shelters with the strategies and tools to save lives, fundraise, and have fun, all through the power of marketing. Ryan is also an avid hiker, wannabe drone pilot, and travel lover.
