Head of Animal Welfare, Mayhew

Zoe has worked in various hands on/front line animal welfare roles for over 25 years. She joined Mayhew in 2008, originally as an animal welfare officer. Mayhew allowed her to achieve her ambition of getting to the root cause of the animal welfare issues in our community, supporting vulnerable pet owners from all walks of life and developing projects to address these issues effectively. We believe in the power of the human animal bond and the benefits of keeping people and animals together where possible.

As head of animal welfare, Zoe is extremely proud to educate and promote this unique approach, changing people’s perception on how they see animals to achieve the human behavior change we need to truly improve animals’ welfare.
