We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Supervisor to join our Loveland Shelter team. This is your chance to work hands-on with animals while leading a team of professionals committed to providing high-quality care for animals of all kinds, from cats and dogs to exotic animals and barnyard friends.

What You’ll Do:
-Lead & Inspire: Supervise and train Animal Care Leads, Technicians, Assistants, and volunteers to ensure top-notch animal care.
-Daily Operations: Oversee feeding, cleaning, and disease control protocols to maintain a safe, healthy environment for our furry friends.
-Hands-On Animal Care: Step in where needed, from cleaning kennels to administering medications and even assisting with animal behavior evaluations. This role also includes assisting with and performing humane euthanasia procedures.
-Drive Improvement: Participate in team meetings, streamline workflows, and implement innovative solutions to enhance shelter operations.
What You Bring:
-Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent applicable professional work experience in animal care. 1+ year work experience in animal welfare, animal care, animal health or applicable industry required (personal pet ownership does not count towards this requirement). 1+ year staff supervisory experience.
-Skills That Shine: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
-Physical & Emotional Strength: Comfort working in a fast-paced, emotional environment with animals in all conditions.
-Flexibility: Ready for a dynamic schedule that includes weekends and occasional overtime.
