The Wisconsin Humane Society is hiring part and full-time Animal Care Technicians (ACTs) to provide support to animals and offer valuable services to the community. ACTs report to the Client Services/Animal Care supervisory team and work onsite at the Milwaukee Campus. Key accountabilities:
-Provide animals with food, water, enrichment and other essential daily needs
-Maintain clean animal housing following our high standard cleaning guidelines
-Provide initial exams and vaccinations for animals at time of intake
-Administer medical treatments under the direction of a veterinarian
-Maintain detailed and accurate records in our animal management software
-Commit to a welcoming, supportive and non-judgmental approach with all clients, callers and coworkers
