Job Description
San Diego Humane Society is hiring a full-time Community Cat Program Coordinator to support our Community Cat Program team!Full-Time | San Diego Campus | $22.00–$24.48 per hour
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Community Cat Program Manager to coordinate program operations, assist with fieldwork throughout San Diego County, organize volunteers, and ensure each cat receives compassionate, individualized care. You’ll play a key part in maintaining program flow and efficiency while advancing humane outcomes for community cats.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of full-time experience in animal welfare or public-facing work with experience trapping cats as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return program.
Experience working with cats in a shelter, clinic, or animal hospital environment is strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply. A valid driver’s license and insurability under SDHS policies are required.
This position is based at our San Diego Campus and involves frequent travel within San Diego County. Pay starts between $22.00 and $24.48 per hour and includes eligibility for a bilingual-Spanish premium.
