Job Description

The Licensed Veterinary Technician will assist our Shelter Veterinarian with all treatment and care of animal patients. The Licensed Veterinary Technician will report to the Director of Locke Community Medical Center. The Fredericksburg SPCA is a highly progressive animal welfare organization. This is a fast-paced environment focused on providing high quality, high volume spay and neuter surgeries, and dentals for public clients as well as managing the medical care of the shelter population. The ideal candidate will work well on a team as well as take the initiative to complete tasks as an individual.
