Job Description

Manage the intake and care of kittens within SBACC, including recruiting and supporting foster families. Coordinate veterinary care, oversee socialization efforts, and promote foster program to new recruits. 2-3 years experience with neonatal kittens in a professional setting required. Train new fosters and set up new foster homes with necessary supplies. Ability to assess, vaccinate, medicate, bottle and tube feed, and give SubQ fluids to kittens. Regularly communicate and follow up with foster parents to monitor progress of kittens in foster care, take calls and emails from fosters when needed. Create and maintain guidance materials for foster parents.
