Are you passionate about animals and ready to make a difference? We’re looking for enthusiastic Pet Adoption Health Associates to join our team at the new Greeley Adoption Campus! As someone regularly entrusted with the daily care of animals, YOU will play a vital role in supporting the animals in our care.
Hourly rate is $18.00. Initial review of applications will begin on June 1, 2025. Applications will be accepted until then, and on-going until the positions have been filled.

The anticipated Grand Opening timeline for the Greeley Adoption Campus is mid-September. Once open, this will be the primary work location at the crossroads of Highway 34 and 65th Ave in Greeley. Upon hire, the initial training period will be at our Weld Campus at 1620 42nd St. in Evans.

What You’ll Do:
Feed animals and clean kennels, cages, and public areas
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
Handle dogs, cats, small mammals, and more
Perform daily medical rounds and basic animal assessments
Flag health or behavior concerns to appropriate staff
Maintain accurate medical records and inventory
Assist with diagnostic sample prep (fecals, urinalyses, etc.)
Support client communication and prescription fulfillment
Drive on behalf of the organization as needed
Cross-train in other departments and support shelter operations
What You Bring:
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
3+ months experience in a vet clinic or shelter OR vet assistant certification
6+ months hands-on animal handling experience
Strong computer and communication skills
Calm, detail-oriented, and dependable in a busy environment
Able to lift, clean, and work with cleaning chemicals
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus – includes wage premium
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Job Details:
Location: Evans, CO for 2-3 months of training, then Greeley, CO
Schedule: Full-time – includes weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed.
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
