Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually

We’re seeking a passionate Pet Adoption Manager to help launch our Pet Adoption Campus in Greeley, CO! The Pet Adoption Campus is scheduled to open later in 2025. Until then, this role will be based mostly at our Weld Campus in Evans and will be instrumental in the start-up of the Adoption Campus.

What You’ll Do:

-Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team – Supervise and mentor 3 direct reports and 16+ staff indirectly, ensuring top-tier animal care, customer service, and professional growth.
-Manage Daily Shelter Operations – Oversee animal welfare, adoptions, census management, facility needs, and compliance with sheltering regulations (PACFA, DEA, OSHA).
-Drive Adoption Success – Plan and coordinate adoption events, marketing collaborations, and community outreach to maximize pet placements.
-Strategic & Facility Planning – Play a key role in launching our new Adoption Campus in 2025, shaping policies and operations for long-term success.
-Hands-On Animal Care – Assist with handling, vaccinations, medical needs, and behavioral assessments to ensure adoptability and well-being.

What You Bring to the Team:

-1+ year leadership experience in an animal shelter, other animal welfare organization, or a related field
-2+ years of experience managing staff/volunteers (4+ people)
-Strong customer service & communication skills with 2+ years experience working with the public
-Proven ability to train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance
-Knowledge of animal behavior, enrichment, and medical care
-Comfort handling animals, administering care, and ensuring safety protocols

Additional Requirements:

-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Valid Colorado driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
-Comfortable performing and overseeing euthanasia and vaccination procedures.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
-Must be able to travel between multiple organization locations(Greeley, Loveland, and Evans).
