Job Description

Road Dogs & Rescue champions second chances for “underdogs” with a special focus on brachycephalic or special-needs pups often overlooked or facing medical obstacles. We balance honest storytelling (even the “graphic realities” of intense vet care or high bills) with humor, hope, and the unwavering belief in each dog’s inherent worth. Guided by this vision, the Rescue, Adoption & Foster Operations Coordinator (RAFOC) stands at the heart of our mission: uniting rescue operations, adoption pathways, and foster engagement into a single, compassionate pipeline. While the RAFOC does not make medical decisions, they work closely with the Medical Director to ensure timely evaluations and consistent care, empowering fosters with the resources they need to nurture our “Lovable Lemons.” By embracing empathy, transparency, urgency, hope, and collaboration, the RAFOC amplifies the spirit of Road Dogs & Rescue—showcasing that no dog should be left behind and that with community support, miraculous transformations can happen every day.
