YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

• Perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries
• Diagnose and treat sick and injured impounded animals
• Lead and participate in community vaccine & spay/neuter clinics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
Minimum qualifications for this position include graduation or scheduled to graduate within nine (9) months of hire, from a recognized school of Veterinary Medicine or a Practitioner License within the State of Florida.

Additional requirements for this position include:
Licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Florida. New graduates must obtain a License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Florida within six (6) months of hire. Out-of-state applicants must obtain a License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Florida in order to start work. 

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Drug Enforcement Administration License within 60 days of start date, must be able to obtain a Class 2 USDA veterinarian accreditation within 60 days of start date and must successfully complete pre-exposure rabies treatment/vaccination or demonstrate a current protective rabies titer level.
