Brief Company Description:
Founded in 1978, The Animal Foundation of Las Vegas is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that began as a low-cost spay and neuter clinic and has since grown to become the highest-volume single-site animal shelter in the United States.
As an open-admission shelter, similar to a public hospital, we accept every animal that comes to us regardless of their condition—whether healthy, sick, or injured. We care for a wide variety of animals, from dogs, cats, and rabbits to pigs, chickens, and exotic species. While, like a hospital, we can’t save every animal, our commitment is to save every healthy and treatable animal that comes through our doors with the support of our community.

Position Summary:
Under administrative direction, responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care of shelter and/or client-owned animals, shelter medicine, spay/neuter surgeries, and disease control protocols. Some positions may require an emphasis on high-volume spay and neuter surgery, and others may require emphasis on duties related to shelter medicine and population management.
