Join our growing medical team! As a Veterinary Technician, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality care for animals at our adoption center and through our community wellness clinic. This position is vital to our mission of ensuring the health and well-being of each animal while fostering a supportive environment for potential adopters.

Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals.
Perform routine examinations and administer vaccinations as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each animal.
Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures and treatments.
Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Educate pet owners about proper animal care and health practices.
Monitor animal behavior and vital signs during recovery periods.
Support the overall operations of the shelter by maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:
Certification as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience in veterinary care.
Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology.
Experience with aseptic techniques and veterinary critical care procedures.
Ability to handle animals safely and effectively using proper restraint techniques.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, volunteers, and the public.
Familiarity with X-Ray procedures is a plus but not mandatory.
