Vice President, Global Animal Rescue and Response, The Humane Society of the United States/Humane Society International
Adam Parascandola is the vice president of Global Animal Rescue and Response for both the Humane Society of the United States and its international affiliate Humane Society International. In this capacity Adam works with both HSUS and HSI to assist law enforcement, NGOs, and government agencies in addressing animal cruelty, animal fighting, and disaster response work around the globe. In this capacity Adam has responded to disasters such as Katrina, Hurricane Harvey, Irene, Superstorm Sandy, the earthquake in Nepal, Hurricane Irma in the British Virgin Islands and recently both the wildfires in Australia and Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. Adam also has responded to hundreds of man-made disasters such as puppy mills, animal hoarding, dog meat trade, animal neglect and animal fighting and facilitated the large-scale rescue of animals from these situations both in the US and abroad.
