April Huntsman is a certified animal welfare administrator with more than 20 years of experience in the animal welfare field. Since 2017, she’s worked for Adopt a Pet, where she currently serves as senior director for animal welfare.
April’s past experience includes working as an animal care officer in Arizona and leading a municipal shelter in Utah, where she became known as an “agent of change” for launching new programs and successfully implementing best practices.
