Disaster response program director, Global Animal Rescue Team, Humane World for Animals

Celia Jackson has dedicated over 15 years to disaster response, providing essential leadership and support in both the humanitarian and animal welfare fields. Since 2023, she has served as Humane World for Animals’ program director for disaster response in the United States. Before joining Humane World for Animals, Celia worked for the American Red Cross in Alaska and Michigan. She has also dabbled in hazardous material response, firefighting, humane search and rescue, and public health. She shares her home with two dogs, one cat and one husband and enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures.
