Faizan Jalil

Faizan Jalil is an expert in the field of community development and human behaviour change with more than 19 years of experience in leading programs addressing human – animal conflict and animal welfare. He is currently working with Humane Society International as senior manager - community engagement for Asia and Africa. Prior to working with HSI, Faizan has worked in several International Organizations including the Brooke Hospital for Animals India as their head of region. He has extensive field experience and brought about the concept of sustainable animal welfare while working on the community engagement aspects in Brooke. Faizan shares his life with his partner of 17 years Sushmita, 2 senior Indie dogs – Lafander and November, and a 13 year old adorable and demanding cat, Tinku.
