Morganne Strubel

Placement Coordinator, Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA

Morganne joined the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA in Fall 2018 to oversee the expansion of the foster and transfer programs. Since then she has successfully launched a day trip program, short term foster program, and foraged multiple transport relationships state and nation wide. She has also developed an emergency foster program to energize the community in and surrounding Charlottesville during times of crisis or need. Having success with these programs, Morganne and the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA have routinely co-hosted the Maddie's Fund Day Trip Foster apprenticeship program. Morganne started her career in animal welfare in Atlanta, GA as a foster parent in 2010. She now resides in Charlottesville, VA with her boyfriend and their four fur-babies.
