Content Manager, American Pets Alive!

Rory Adams is the Content Manager at American Pets Alive!. Previously Rory worked for Maddie's Fund, in roles that include dog program coordinator and education specialist. Rory developed the Maddie's Apprenticeship and Fellowship programs to train shelter professionals on lifesaving best practices. Rory founded and served as the Executive Director of Tucson Pets Alive!, a non-profit organization that helped to increase lifesaving in Tucson in 2018 and he was the director of a small animal shelter that helped save pets at risk of being killed in the municipal shelter. Rory's areas of expertise and interest include systems learning for animal welfare, achieving live outcomes for animals with medical and behavioral challenges, and the intersection between social justice and animal welfare.
