Shalimar Oliver

Animal Crimes Case Manager, the Humane Society of the United States

Shalimar Oliver oversees investigations of puppy mills, animal fighting and other cruelty cases for our Animal Rescue Team. Leveraging her many years of experience as an animal care officer, disaster responder and shelter staffer, she also serves as a trainer for the HSUS Law Enforcement Training Center, has been the case lead on several large-scale rescues and has trained over 100 officials from Central American countries on puppy mill investigations. Oliver was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she worked at the Sydney RSPCA and a wildlife park.
