Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. A minimum of five to ten years of experience in customer service, outreach, shelter services or related experience is required.

Recruitment Notes
This position will be responsible for directing all of the Animal Services Department’s kennel services including cleaning, infectious disease control, housing, animal enrichment and overall wellbeing of shelter pets, as well as the execution of the strategic plan set forth by the Department Director – providing reports showing performance towards established metrics. Additional responsibilities include increasing positive outcomes for shelter pets and making pet retention services accessible to the community, in order to minimize owner surrenders. This position will have oversight of customer service including adoptions, wellness clinic, and programs including fosters, volunteers, rescues and interstate/intrastate transport.
