Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of three years of experience in animal care services, animal shelter or kennel operations, or animal handling are required. Additional related experience may substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Recruitment Notes
This position is responsible for overseeing, managing, directing, and integrating the operations and programs of assigned functions and staff. It will provide strategic management and section oversight including operations for the Animal Services Department (ASD), Kennel Section. This position plays a critical role in the overall mission of maintaining “No Kill” status by providing life-saving services to all animals in the care of the Animal Services Department. This position will also play an important role in providing essential services to the community.
