Mountain View Humane is a non-profit dedicated to ending pet overpopulation in Southwest Virginia. We offer low cost spay/neuter services as well as wellness, dentistry, and euthanasia services. We are searching for an associate veterinarian who has a heart for the underserved population.

Mountain View Humane offers 4 weeks of vacation, 2 weeks of sick leave, bereavement leave, pet bereavement leave, no weekends/on-call/holidays, and we close the entire week of Christmas! We also offer a 4-day work week with experienced LVTs and vet assistants. We are also open to hiring a part-time veterinarian if full-time is not an option.

The associate veterinarian will be trained in high volume spay/neuter techniques, and will have an opportunity to perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, if desired. An onboarding period is expected to train and increase surgical efficiency in HQHVSN. Even if you have never worked in a high-volume setting before, we can train the right candidate!
