The Pet Support Services team at the Richmond SPCA plays an essential role in the intake of dogs and cats into our care. The Community Support Specialist, along with Pet Support Counselors, provides compassionate, solutions-focused support to community members facing challenges that may impact their ability to care for their animals. This role centers on crisis intervention, case management, and client support, with the goal of keeping pets with their families whenever possible.
