Job Description

The Kennel Coach role at Halifax Humane Society is critical to our lifesaving efforts. This position serves as the team’s primary subject matter expert regarding Animal Care and Open Paw operations. The kennel coach is also the primary trainer for new staff, volunteers, workforce partners, and community work crews. The Kennel Coach is expected to participate in HHS professional development coursework and activities and will assist the Animal Care Leadership in the team's professional development.
