Job description: Mobile Vaccine Veterinary Coordinator (Full-Time)

Pawmetto Lifeline is a private not for profit organization. We are an animal advocacy organization offering educational and medical programs for pets with a focus on pet retention. Our goal is to ensure pets are never homeless by supporting pet owners in need of our services with the hopes that their pet never enters a shelter.

Full time hours vary: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, occasional Wednesdays, 37-40 hours per week. Shift times vary.

Responsibilities - Duties include, but are not limited to data entry, working with computer programs such as ClinicHQ and PetPoint, answering phones, responding to voicemails and emails, monitoring & updating the website Calendar, filing, placing, and receiving client orders, and assisting with all other general office duties.

Desired Qualifications: One-two years of customer service/reception experience required. Applicants should be highly motivated with an interest in helping animals. Veterinary office experience is preferred, but any outstanding applicant with reception experience will be considered.

Must be comfortable around all breeds of cats and dogs and must possess excellent people skills, attention to detail, customer service and phone skills. Applicants should have Microsoft office knowledge, be very organized and will need to be able to work efficiently under pressure.

The Mobile Vaccine Clinic, Care-A-Van, is a true mobile vaccine service operated by Pawmetto Lifeline. The Care-A-Van is designed to provide pet owners with convenient access to low-cost vaccines and products to keep their dogs and cats healthy.

Our service operates on Friday, Saturday & Sundays in various locations throughout South Carolina, and Wednesdays and Friday mornings at our facility on-site. Work days can be from 8-12 hours a day and the work is outside.

All proceeds from the Care-A-Van supports Pawmetto Lifeline's life-saving mission. Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization solving pet overpopulation in the Midlands.

There are over 19,000 homeless pets in the Midlands and over 14,000 are euthanized each year. Pawmetto Lifeline has a plan in place to correct this problem through four distinct initiatives: Adoption, Medical, Rescue Collaboration, and Education efforts.
